How to install Advanced File Recovery?

Before installing the recovery tool, please ensure your system meets the following minimum system requirements:

System Requirements - Windows

The basic requirements for operating Advanced File Recovery are:

Windows-based hardware PC with mouse or similar input device
Processor Intel Pentium 4 or later with (x86, x64)
Memory 4GB RAM or more
Operating System Windows 11/ Windows 10 / Windows 8.1 / Windows 8 / Windows 7
Hard disk 500 MB free space
Display 1280x768 resolution

To install the software:

Download Advanced File Recovery by clicking here.
Double click the afrsetup.exe setup file. You will now get a UAC prompt click Yes to proceed.
Next, follow on-screen instructions to start the installation.
Wait for the installation process to finish.
Once done, Advanced File Recovery will launch.
Now select the location that you wish to scan and restore selected files.
