Uninstall Instructions

Please refer to the below instructions to uninstall Advanced File Recovery.

For Windows 11

Steps to uninstall Advanced File Recovery:

  1. 1. Press Windows + I to open Windows Settings. Alternatively, right-click the Start button and select "Settings" from the list.

  2. 2. In the Setting window click Apps from the left pane > select Apps & Features.

  3. 3. Next, in the Apps & features window look for the Advanced File Recovery. Click the three dots next to it and select Uninstall from the context menu.

  4. 4. When asked for confirmation click Uninstall. The selected program will now be uninstalled from Windows 11.

  5. 5. To apply changes restart the system.

This will remove the Advanced File Recovery from your computer.


For Windows 10

Steps to uninstall Advanced File Recovery :

  1. 1. In the Windows search bar type Control Panel.

  2. 2. Select the best search result and open it.

  3. 3. Next, click Programs and Features and look for Advanced File Recovery.

  4. 4. Select the name of the software > right-click > Uninstall.

  5. 5. Confirm the action by clicking the Yes button when prompted.

This will remove the Advanced File Recovery from your computer.


For Windows 8.1 and 8

Steps to uninstall Advanced File Recovery:

  1. 1. Press Windows + R to open the Run window.

  2. 2. Type appwiz.cpl > Ok.

  3. 3. This will open the Programs and Features windows.

  4. 4. Look for Advanced File Recovery.

  5. 5. Select it > right- click on Uninstall.

  6. 6. Click Yes when prompted to uninstall the program.

This will remove the Advanced File Recovery from your computer.


For Windows 7

Steps to uninstall Advanced File Recovery

  1. 1. Click the Start button on your taskbar and select Control Panel.

  2. 2. Under the Programs category, click on the "Uninstall a program" option.

  3. 3. On the next page, select Advanced File Recovery and click on Uninstall.

  4. 4. Click the Yes button when prompted to uninstall the program.

This will remove the Advanced File Recovery from your computer.
